ROOT TREATMENT
What are our services
Root canal treatment is necessary when the soft tissue inside a tooth – also called pulp – has become inflamed or has already died. But the dentist may also recommend this procedure to prevent an impending inflammation.
During root canal treatment, the dentist removes the inflamed tissue or dead nerve in the root canals using electronic length measurement and cleans the inside of the tooth with fine flexible instruments.
After an application of a sterile medication, the canals are filled with a sterile material. Technically speaking, this is also called root canal treatment. The tooth is now no longer supplied with blood, but can remain in the tooth row. Often, a crown is also due because the tooth becomes brittle over time.
